Attorney Pantaleon Florez of Topeka; deadbeat, repeat offender

The sate of Kansas presented Pantaleon Florez with a law license in 1981.

The Kansas Board for Discipline of Attorneys found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on ability to practice law
  • Failed to comply with court order for turning over tax returns in case wherein Pantaleon was defendant in paternity suit
  • Failed to timely pay court-ordered child support
  • Sanctioned and ordered to pay $15,000 in fees to opposing counsel

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Pantaleon’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received four (4) complimentary admonishments for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Pantaleon by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (May 2015) Pantaleon practices at 933 East Kansas Avenue in Topeka, Kansas.
