Attorney Michael Spencer of Klamath Falls; repeat offender

The state of Oregon provided Michael L. Spencer with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Oregon Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Simultaneously represented a client in a bankruptcy proceeding while also serving as her real estate broker
  • Engaged in an improper business transaction with client

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Mike’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2015) Mike practices with Spencer Runnels & LeBourveau at 419 Main Street in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
