Attorney Gary Sammons of Hot Springs, AR; repeat offender

The state of Arkansas presented Gary R. Sammons with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Gary guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide advance warning to client that he was going to withdraw
  • Failed to obtain authorization from court to withdraw from case
  • Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client’s interests after withdrawal
  • Knowingly violated court order
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Gary’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received one (1) complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (May 2015), Gary practices at 118 Treasure Isle Road in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
