The state of Illinois presented J.W. Pierceall with a law license in 2001.

The Disciplinary Commission found J.W. guilty of the following misconduct.

During the time he was employed as an assistant county prosecutor, J.W. repeatedly advised Christian County correctional officers to set bond, and release inmates under sentence, without prior judicial approval.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished J.W. by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), J.W. practices with the Law Office of J.W. Pierceall at 975 South Durkin Drive in Springfield, Illinois.
