Attorney Charles Winne of Burlington, NJ; ambulance chaser

The state of New Jersey presented Charles L. Winne with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Charlie and several of his associates that were then employed by and/or associated with a Cherry Hill law firm known as Tomar O'Brien Kaplan Jacoby and Graziano allowed its non-attorney employees -- such as secretaries and paralegal assistants -- to receive bonuses for referring cases to the firm.

This is affectionately referred to as Ambulance Chasing 101. The problem for Cynthia is that said conduct was prohibited the Rules of Professional conduct, a fact well known to her at the time she cheerfully engaged in said conduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Charlie practices in Burlington, New Jersey.
