Attorney Robert O’Brien of Cherry Hill, NJ; ambulance chaser

The state of New Jersey presented Robert F. O’Brien with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Bobby and several of his associates that were then employed by and/or associated with a Cherry Hill law firm known as Tomar O'Brien Kaplan Jacoby and Graziano allowed its non-attorney employees -- such as secretaries and paralegal assistants -- to receive bonuses for referring cases to the firm.

This is affectionately referred to as Ambulance Chasing 101. The problem for Cynthia is that said conduct was prohibited the Rules of Professional conduct, a fact well known to her at the time she cheerfully engaged in said conduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Bobby practices with O’Brien Belland & Bushinsky at 1526 Berlin Road in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
