Attorney Margaret Tribert of Aiken, SC; drunken druggie

The State of South Carolina presented Margaret C. Tribert with a law license in 1987 after she graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Margie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Margie was charged with possession of cocaine and first offense driving under the influence (DUI).

Margie subsequently pled guilty to the driving under the influence charge, and the possession of cocaine charge was dismissed after respondent successfully completed the pre-trial intervention program.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Margie by gifting her with a complimentary1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Margie practices at 116 Waterloo Street in Aiken, South Carolina.
