Attorney Diane Beall of Escondido, CA; lying loser  

The state of California presented Diane Joan Beal with a law license in 1979 after she graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo Law School. 

The California State Bar found Diane guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to render accounts of client funds
• Failed to deposit client funds in client trust account
• Failed to respond to client request for accounting of client funds
• After being fired, lied to new counsel that $6,000 paid in fees by client was for hourly work and was not a retainer
• Asked client’s new attorney what client wanted in exchange for withdrawing her ethics complaint
• Lied to ethics investigators that she never took fee for representing client and that she volunteered her time in exchange for a $6,000 donation to her ministry

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Diane by gifting her with a complimentary 90-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Diane practices at 2250 North Broadway in Escondido, California, which is located in San Diego County.
