Today’s “Lunatic” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Rafael. In the past, she has been the recipient of eight (8) Awards. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

During a recent (04/10/15) speech before the National Rifle Association’s convention, Bobby told the attendees that Republicans need to “be ready to stand up to big business.” (Miranda Blue)

Bobby was making reference to recent decisions in Indiana and Arkansas to moderate measures that sanctioned overt discrimination against members of the gay community under the guise of religious freedom. Of course the backpedalling come about due to pressure from corporations wary of doing business in states seen as hostile to LGBT people.

Bobby called the Indiana and Arkansas remedial decisions “very, very dangerous,” saying that “Holly Hollywood liberals and editorial columnists” and “some of the biggest corporations in our country…came together to bully the elected representatives of the people.”

Bobby went on to say:

• “This wasn’t just a matter of competing policy decisions.”
• “This was an attack on our Constitution.”
• “It was an attack on the fundamental right to speech and association and the free exercise of religion.”
• “It was large corporations, Hollywood and the media elite saying, ‘We don’t care about the First Amendment.”

Bobby finished off his bigoted rant by saying:

• “This 2016 election will be an election between elitist and populism.”
• “Hillary Clinton will be on the side of elitism, we need to be on the side of the people and their First and Second Amendment rights.”

This certified moron (my apologies to morons) actually believes in his demented mind that he is qualified to be the next President. Anyone who cheerfully supports discrimination against LGBT folks isn’t fit to sit in the White House. Moreover, claiming a “religious” right to discriminate is even more of a disqualifier.

One thing that is painfully clear is that Bobby is willing to say or do anything to gain the support of bigots, homophobes and other assorted misfits in his zeal to run for the GOP nomination for president in 2016.

Thank God that this Moron’s authority is limited to sticking it to Louisianans.
