Attorney Dennis Ryan of Baraboo, WI; cheating loser 

The state of Wisconsin presented Dennis Joseph Ryan with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Southern Illinois University Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Denny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Initiated unsolicited telephone contact with man’s family for purpose of obtaining employment (ambulance chasing)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to advance client’s interest on his appeal
• $10,000 fee charged to client unreasonable (cheater)
• Failed to explain nature of proposed fee to client
• Failed to respond to client’s request for detailed billing statement

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Denny by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Denny practices with the Sauk County District Attorneys Office at 515 Oak Street in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
