Attorney Richard Werner of Denver; ethical misfit

The state of Colorado provided Richard E. Werner with a law license in 1985.

The Colorado State Bar found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to inform client of circumstances requiring clients informed consent
  • Failed to client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to comply with rules government concurrent conflicts of interests among clients

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 60-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dick.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Dick practices with The Werner Law Firm at 801 East 17thAvenuein Denver, Colorado.
