Attorney Jeffrey Shaw of Pueblo, CO; lying loser 

The state of Colorado provided Jeffrey Chilton Shaw with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from St. Mary’s University Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with discovery obligations
• Failed to respond to two motions to dismiss client’s case
• Court dismissed client’s case with prejudice (foreclosed from every bring action in the future) for failure to prosecute
• Filed claims that court deemed lacked substantial justification
• Filing of frivolous lawsuit led to court award of sizeable fees against his client
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to advise client of settlement offers
• Lied to client by telling him he had filed a complaint when in fact he had not
• Lying to client re: filing of complaint led to statute of limitations to expire on client claim

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Jeff practices with the Law Offices of Jeffrey C. Shaw at 3234 Shalimer Terrace in Pueblo, Colorado.
