The state of Colorado provided Brian G. Methner with a law license in 2002.

The Colorado State Bar found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Brian failed to take the necessary steps to ensure that his firm’s accounting system complied with the record-keeping requirements under the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct.

As a result, Brian improperly spent client funds on operating expenses when those funds should have been held in a trust account.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
