Attorney David Philips of Miami; druggie

The state of Florida provided David Philips with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Miami Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dave was arrested and charged in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court with possession of cocaine, a third-degree felony.

Subsequently, the DA agreed to drop the criminal charges following Dave’s successful completion of the drug court program.

A unreliable source indicated that Dave opted to attend the Lindsay Lohan Institute for Drug Abusers located in Burbank, California.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Dave practices with DKP Attorneys Counselors at Law at 100 Biscayne Blvd in Miami, Florida.
