The state of Pennsylvania presented James Downey Brady with a law license in 1979.

The New Jersey Office of Ethics found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dave found it acceptable to violate the rules by holding a client’s cash deposit regarding a real estate matter in his office safe rather than deposit said funds in his trust account as he was required to do.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Dave’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a four (4) complimentary reprimands and had his law license suspended four (4) times for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
