Attorney Monique Walker of Augusta, GA; ethical dwarf

The state of Georgia presented Monique Walker with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from the University of Georgia Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Monique guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Monique Walker pled guilty in federal court to filing a fraudulent tax return.

Monique accepted a check that bore the notation “consulting fees,” for $700 from her father’s company, and did not report the money as income.

In a lame attempt at levity, Monique defended her conduct by laughingly claiming that she considered the $700 in consulting fees to be a gift from her Dad. Obviously, Monique missed her calling as a standup comedian.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Monique by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and a 120-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. Jerry 2015), Monique practices with The Walker Group at 1143 Laney Walker Blvd in Augusta, Georgia.
