Attorney John Roberts of Atlanta; ethical misfit

The state of Georgia presented John Alfred Roberts with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.

The Georgia State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny represented several defendants in a civil action. During that time, Johnny filed on one client’s behalf a “Notice of Suggestion of Bankruptcy” approximately two months before he filed the actual bankruptcy petition.

Johnny’s negligent filing of the bankruptcy petition created a mistaken belief about his client in the then pending superior court civil case.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. Jerry 2015), Johnny practices with The Roberts Law Firm at 462 East Paces Ferry Road in Atlanta, Georgia.
