Attorney Jerry Moncus of Dalton, GA; ethical misfit

The state of Georgia presented Jerry Wayne Moncus with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.

The Georgia State Bar found Jerry guilty of the following misconduct.

Jerry served for several years as the chief judge of the Municipal Court of the city of Dalton, concluding his service in September 2010. The very next month, Jerry agreed to represent three individuals then serving probationary sentences that Moncus had imposed as a judge of the Municipal court.

Jerry subsequently filed motions in the Municipal Court to terminate their probationary sentences and filed motions to terminate their probation without the consent of the city of Dalton.

Making matters worse is the fact that Jerry the Loser refused to admit wrongdoing.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Jerry by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. Jerry 2015), Jerry practices at 216 West Morris Street in Dalton, Georgia.
