Attorney Damon Smith of Florence, AL; ethical misfit  

The state of Alabama presented Damon Quinn Smith with a law license after he graduated from the Birmingham School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Damon guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to maintain complete trust account records

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Damon by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 91-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Damon.
