Attorney Neal Gantz of Chicago; cheating loser

The state of Illinois presented Neal Phillip Gantz with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Harvard University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Neal guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Converted $2,106 by using one client’s funds to partially pay settlement proceeds owing to a second client
  • Lied to second client about status of her claims in a lease dispute

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Gene by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2015), Gene practices at 105 West Madison Street in Chicago, Illinois.

Caution: Neal does not carry legal malpractice insurance
