Attorney Thaddeus Gauza of Chicago; convicted wife beater 

The state of Illinois presented Thaddeus Stanley Gauza with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Harvard University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Thaddeus guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter,while acting at the bequest of of an acquaintance, he represented the purported sellers in a residential real estate transaction that turned out to be an attempted fraud on the true owners of the property.

In another matter,Thaddeus pled guilty to domestic battery and violated an order o protection.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Thaddeus by gifting him with a complimentary 5-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2015), Thaddeus practices with The Law Offices of Thaddeus S. Gauza at 7002 West Talcott in Chicago, Illinois.
