Attorney Alan Applebee of Jacksonville, IL; ethical dwarf  

The state of Illinois presented Alan Wadsworth Applebee with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Harvard University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Alan guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to inform client of settlement offer
• Filed appeal contrary to client’s specific instructions

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Morris by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.
