The Law Society of New South Wales presented Douglas John Eaton with a law license in 1983.

The Office of the Legal Services Commissioner found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to pay superannuation contributions for employees
• Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Office of the Legal Services Commissioner punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
